These are the patterns that cause most candidates to lose marks on this topic. Recognising them in advance is half the work.

• !Reading: confusing True/False/Not Stated questions — conflating "False" with "Not Stated"

Study tips

• 1Practice B1 English grammar: past tenses, conditionals, passive voice, modal verbs.
• 2For reading True/False/Not Stated questions: if the text does not address the statement at all, the answer is "Not Stated."
• 3For the writing task, plan content before writing: identify all required content points and assign one sentence to each.

   Why this answer?

   The text mentions weekday hours only (10 am on weekdays). It does not give any information about Saturday hours. Therefore the answer is "Not Stated" — we cannot determine if the Saturday information is true or false based on what the text says.
